2008 Spring Showcase Profiles: Part 6
June 10, 2008
D'Mitri Riggs |
|
High School: Bloomington
AAU Team: Team Illinois / Spiece Gym Rats
Class: 2009
Position: Shooting Guard
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 180 lbs
Notes: D’mitri was definitely the best player in the
gym. He handles the ball very well and creates
well off the dribble. He’s got good
quickness and athleticism and can get by his defender very well. He has a rangy jumpshot but must gain
consistency. Had the highlight of the day when he drove baseline, rose up, and dunked over two defenders over 6'7". |
Luke Radliff |
|
High School: Mahomet-Seymour
AAU Team: N/A
Class: 2009
Position: Forward
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 175
Notes: From everyone we spoke with, it seems that Radliff was playing out of position as he normally plays on the wing. Though he spent the majority of his time on the inside, he did show good footwork and agility inside. |
Kendall Cox |
|
High School: Paxton-Buckley-Loda
AAU Team: N/A
Class: 2009
Position: Shooting Guard
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 165 lbs
Notes: Cox
doesn’t possess great quickness but does a good job of using jabs and pump
fakes to get to the basket. He handles
the ball well and moves well without it. His bread and butter is his more than accurate 3-point shot. He is very poised on the floor and is not intimidated by anyone. |
DeMarius Miller |
|
High School: Romeoville
AAU Team: Illinois Speed
Class: 2009
Position: Point Guard
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 182 lbs
Notes: Miller is very quick and explosive with the ball in his
hands. He’s a solid athlete is good at slashing
to the rim and finishing. He has good body
control as he is able to make acrobatic plays around the rim. He is not yet a consistent shooter but does have
good form and elevation on his shot. |
Nathan Willard |
|
High School: Mahomet-Seymour
AAU Team: N/A
Class: 2010
Position: Shooting Guard
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 165
Notes: A shooter than can handle it and pass the
ball. Williard plays under control and
makes conscious decisions on the floor. |
