|
2007
|
Normal (IL) Community West
|
An athletic point guard with a quick first step and has
shown that he is fast from baseline to baseline. Corey gets to the basket well and is also a
good outside shooter. He always plays
hard on both ends of the floor and it shows.
He is long, handles the ball well, and makes good decisions. Will need to add strength but has shown that
he has Division I talent. Highly under
recruited prospect.

Lyvonte Eskridge |

|
Calumet City (IL) TF North
|
A strong and powerful forward with great athleticism. Eskridge can really get off the floor. He is a good rebounder and is exciting to
watch. Due to his combination of
strength and athleticism, he is versatile enough to guard wings and post
players. His outside shot is good but
inconsistent. He has a chance to be a very good
player. A possible post-graduate
candidate.

Adam Hodge |

|
South Elgin (IL) H.S.
|
A strong guard with a nice shooting form. Hodge has a shot similar to former Gonzaga
standout, Adam Morrison. Though he wasn’t
dropping shots consistently at the showcase, it was obvious he’s a pure
shooter. Despite his shooting ability,
Adam also made efforts to attack the basket.
Though he penetrated from time to time, he relied on his jumpshot a
little too much which limited the looks he got from the defense. An impressive guard who should have a
standout season.

James Kinney |

|
2009
|
Champaign (IL) Centennial
|
Proved himself as the top point guard and most complete overall
guard in the 2009 class. James shoots
the ball with unlimited range and accuracy.
He’s a smart and quick guard that plays within himself and doesn’t force
much. He is also a slick passer and a
good athlete. Additionally, Kinney isn’t
afraid to get after it on defense. He
reads the passer’s eyes well and is very active.

Aaron Garriott |
PG
|

|

|
2008
|
Bloomington (IL) Central Catholic
|
A smooth point guard with a good feel for the game. Garriott has a way of making difficult passes
look effortless. He has good court
vision and a rangy three-point shot.
Aaron is fundamentally sound and handles the ball extremely well but
tends to get too crafty and hold on to the ball too much. At times, he looks to make the exciting play
instead of the easy one, which is a habit he must drop. He has good potential and with work, he could
be a solid Division I player.

Daniel Kohavi |
G
|

|

|
2008
|
Pawnee (IL) H.S.
|
A smooth guard with a solid all around game. Kohavi handles and passes the ball well
enough to play the point guard position but has the size and shoots it well
enough to play the off guard slot. He is
fundamentally sound with a quick first step and is good at penetrating seams in
the defense. David has a good feel for
the game, both offensively and defensively, but will need to learn to play aggressive
at all times and add strength. An
overall solid player.

Tylon McAllister |

|

|
2008
|
Bloomington (IL) H.S.
|
An athletic wing that shoots the ball well. Tylon is small but is versatile enough to
guard post players due to his knowledge of positioning and his strength. He needs to improve his lateral quickness and
overall speed but is still transitioning from being an undersized power forward
to a shooting guard.
|
Allen McGaha |
PG
|
6'3"
|

|
2008
|
Chicago (IL) Foreman
|
A tall guard with a smooth, all-purpose game. McGaha is a solid ball handler that scores
best when attacking the basket. He’s fast
and aggressive yet he still manages to play under control. Due to his confident style of play, he draws
comparisons to New York style point guards. On the defensive
end, Allen’s play is strong. He is also
a good rebounder, considering his position.
McGaha tends to settle for the jumpshot too often. However, he has a solid midrange
floater. He also initiates contact well
and draws a lot of fouls, allowing him to get to the free throw line. Strength is a component that McGaha needs to
improve on. One of the top juniors
throughout the state of Illinois.

Mario McRoyal |
WG
|
6'4"
|

|
2007
|
South Holland (IL) Seton Academy
|
A long wing with an unorthodox yet accurate outside
shot. McRoyal’s length gives him an
advantage over other two-guards. He gets
to the basket well and is good defensively.
He is also a solid player on the boards.
Added strength must be gained by the versatile 6’4” wing.

Daronte Tillmon |
WF
|
6'4"
|

|
2010
|
Bloomington (IL) Central Catholic
|
Strong wing that gets to the basket well and can shoot the
ball when in rhythm. Daronte is very,
very long. He rebounds well and can
score from about anywhere on the floor.
He needs to improve his ball handling but has a lot of time to do so due
to the fact that he is just a freshman. Should be a big time player.
