Midwest Showdown Preview
This upcoming weekend, Terrell Ramey and the Saint Louis Falcons will be hosting their annual Midwest Showdown, in St. Louis, Missouri. This event is always one of the better tournaments in the Midwest area and is sure to be one, again, this year. On the 17U level, there will be a great deal of solid teams competing. Some of these teams include St. Louis Falcons, Midwest Storm, St. Louis Gameface, Triple Threat Hoops, Team Illinois, Illinois Knights, Illinois Bobcats, Twin City Magic, and St. Louis Eagles. On the 16U level some of the top teams will include St. Louis Falcons, TABA, Illinois Knights, St. Louis Gameface, and the St. Louis Eagles. On the 15U level top teams expected to participate include St. Louis Falcons, Team Illinois, and St. Louis Eagles. Some top prospects attending from outside of the state include Leon Powell, Alburey Doss, and Cornelius Walker of St. Louis Gameface, Andrew James and Alfred Nelson of St. Louis Falcons, Dave Stewart of St. Louis Primetime, Ron Walker, Richard Anderson, Sean Raker, and Jared Swopshire of St. Louis Eagles, Rodney Ford of St. Louis Gateway, and Josh Harrellson of Team Excalibur. Below is a list of the top players from Illinois expected to attend this weekend’s festivities.
