by Pat Benninger
August 14, 2007

6’8” Eureka power forward Jordan Prosser has become one of the most coveted class of 2009 prospects on the national scale.  The 215 pounder garner a lot of media attention along with interest and offers from schools of both the mid major and high major level and is looking to continue doing so throughout the fall and the winter.

Presently, Prosser boasts scholarship offers from Bradley, Illinois State, Indiana, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Xavier.  Two schools that are also highly active in his recruitment are Georgetown and Purdue.  Though these schools have shown Jordan the highest amount of attention, he is still wide open.

Today Jordan will take an unofficial to Louisville and follow it up on the 15th of this month to visit Evanston, Illinois and Northwestern.  Both schools have increased their amount of interest in the skilled big man and he has a chance to leave both cities with new BCS scholarship offers.

Arizona, Duke, Illinois, Minnesota, and North Carolina are a few other program consistently contacting Prosser though he isn’t one of the top priorities on their lists.

On the AAU circuit, Jordan competed with Indiana Elite-ONE 16s sharing time with Indiana prep standouts Stephen Van Treese and Bobby Capobianco.  All three have earned a good reputation on the national scale and project to be high major recruits.

Prosser will be one of the many highly regarded prospects attending this years MidStateHoops.com Final Run Player Showcase in October.
