Springfield Guard Makes A Change On Prep Tour by Pat Benninger January 21, 2008
Former
Springfield Calvary star Jaron Davis has changed prep schools at
the semester. He is currently at High Point Prep Academy in Denver,
Colorado.
Davis, who started the season off at Charis
Prep in Goldsboro, North Carolina, is a 6’2” 185 lbs point guard that graduated high school in 2007 and is now in a post grad year. He is a great on-the-ball defender and a very
good ball handler. He combines good
strength and a heavy work ethic at the point guard position.
Jaron transferred looking for a “better situation” according to sources close
to him. He’s now at a program coached
and ran by Chicago’s own Tree Adams,
who has a connections with better than 300 Division I colleges.
Along with Davis, Charis Prep teammate Niko
Walters, a post graduate hailing from California, also transferred to High
Point Prep Academy.
