Player Focus: Aziz N'Diaye
by Pat Benninger
September 7, 2007

There has been a new edition to the class of 2008 in Illinois.  This is an impact prospect who easily rates as a top ten player, in fact he’s made his way into the top five immediately.  This is a player who isn’t rated anywhere on the national scale either?  Why, because it is his first year in the States.

7’0” Aziz N’Diaye is now attending Lake Forest Academy.  Previously, he was a citizen in his native country of Senegal.

N’Diaye is a very athletic center with a great build.  At 245 lbs, he has the height, the weight, the athleticism, and the strength to rank among the nation’s best post players.  Though his skillset is a bit raw he has shown that he has soft hands and can finish around the basket.  As his game grows, he will become even more intriguing.  With his natural size and ability, the sky is the ceiling!  He was first noticed in July of 2006 at the adidas Superstar Camp in Europe.

Aziz will join a Lake Forest team that already features 6’3” combo guard David Smith and 7’1” 280 lbs Kyle Rowley.  This is certainly one of the biggest and best inside combo throughout the nation.

Look for N’Diaye to be a surefire impact Division I player and a future NBA prospect.
