Dunson Headed to Pac-10
January 30, 2010
Former Bloomington Central Catholic standout Brandon Dunson has given up his verbal commitment to Arizona State University of the Pac-10 Conference.
Dunson, a versatile 6’3” guard, is currently the starting point guard at Wabash Valley College, one of the country’s top junior college teams. Averaging 12 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds he chose Arizona State over California, Illinois, Oklahoma State, and UCLA.
Brandon, who spent time at both Tennessee-Chattanooga and SIU-Edwardsville before landing at WVC, wasn’t expecting to commit until after the season. However, the high-flier said he felt great about the situation as the team is expected to be very good next season, there are a lot of minutes available at his position, and he’s playing for an experienced coach.
Dunson will sign in the April signing period with the Sun Devils.
